Protolan came to us in late 2020 upon reaching an important milestone – a decade in business. Their initial request was for us to create a campaign centred around this achievement. What they got was so much more!

Challenging an existing identity

Protolan is a business dedicated to working in partnership with food and drink producers to deliver manufacturing excellence. They provide core services designed to solve the day to day challenges their clients encounter on a regular basis. Constantly seeking innovative ways to deliver their services, they are continually developing methods to help reduce costs, manage risks and open up new opportunities. As we initially listened to them talk about their business, the passion and drive they had to excel in their industry was evident. Promoting the 10 year campaign was important but we quickly realised their identity didn’t align with their values and aspirations for growth. With that in mind, we undertook a brand audit, giving them a taste of what their identity could become, compared to how it currently was. As the brand was already established and well known to their customers, we wanted to achieve an evolution, rather than a revolution, making them more relevant and accessible, with room to grow. Following the initial review, we looked at their social media strategy, working closely with them to develop a content calendar packed with engaging material to promote their brand. This included an animation dedicated to their first 10 years in business, which simultaneously worked as an elevator pitch to promote their mission and vision for the future.

Taking a fresh look

Our relationship with Protolan continues to develop and almost three years on, we work with them on a regular basis to help them achieve their ambitious growth plan. We’ve redesigned their website with more of a focus on their core service offering and expanding global reach. We’ve also developed a whole suite of digital marketing materials, all designed to convey the key messages and elevate the brand above its competitors. We consider ourselves an extension of their team with the same focus they have on becoming the leading experts in their industry.
