Based on our experience in the medical sector, Smith+Nephew initially commissioned us to work on a select number of campaigns and product launches alongside their marketing team. Our goal was to create thought provoking, well considered visuals with a strong focus on their expertise and innovations.

Smith+Nephew is a portfolio medical technology company. The products they provide focus on the repair, regeneration and replacement of soft and hard tissue. Their main goal is to find new innovative technologies and work with medical professionals to remove limits in life for their patients. Their passion and commitment to deliver on their vision is something we are proud to support.

Since our initial involvement, we have diversified into several areas within the business and now work with them on a retainer, both on independent projects and as support to their internal design team. As a global leader in its field, Smith+Nephew recognises the value of a strong visual identity. As a company, it has invested heavily in its brand positioning, undergoing an evolution more than once since we began working together. Our designers work closely with the identity, ensuring any assets we create follow the style consistently, whilst still delivering creativity and impact.

We currently work closely with the Evidence team to design and implement an ongoing series of clinical evidence, executed in a variety of mediums including digital papers, interactive presentations and animations. The delivery is equally as important as the creative as turnarounds are often tight, but we enjoy the challenge! We also work with their Marketing teams, both in Europe and the US to design and deliver event materials, sales support tools and product portfolio assets.

The dynamic of our relationship continues to evolve, and regular team meetings allow us to invest wholeheartedly in their vision. Striving for innovation within such a competitive field evokes drive and enthusiasm and for each project we work on, we aim to challenge the creative to present their portfolio in the best way possible. Working with Smith+Nephew for so many years has given us a unique, in-depth knowledge of their brand and means we’re able to make suggestions for presenting scientific, sometimes complicated material in a more visual, impactful format.
